The Roth 401(k)
Buried deep within EGTRRA '01 was a new provision that could dramatically change the way that 401(k) deferrals are thought of. Beginning January 1, 2006, a participant may designate all or a portion of their salary deferrals to be "Roth 401(k)" contributions.
